The UAE is a Coastal Nation, with a continued coastline from the boarder of Saudi Arabia on the west to the most northern point at the Strait of Hormuz.  Through a rich and deep heritage, old techniques still continue, though newer materials are integrating themselves into the industry.

This long series follows the industry from capture to sail, and also the manufacture of new dhows. It was also taken across the emirates, exploring Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Ajman.
