This collection of Photographs are from an abandoned worker lodging near the town of Tarif, in Abu Dhabi Emirate, UAE.

The lodgings ran along the mysterious trainline, and looked to have been left abandoned for a few years.

Ongoing Project;

Start - May 2020

The GCC Train-line is a proposed project, focusing on connecting different countries in the Arabian gulf by high-speed train. Due to be completed before the 2022 Football world cup in Qatar, work mysteriously ceased, and the track was left. Work is due to re-start but as of May 2020, it had seemingly been left alone.

This project follows the UAE aspect of the train line, the lodgings for the workers and asks what happened?

Final project will be written in English and Arabic.
